Why us God...

About three years ago after one of several failed fertility treatments we dared to visit the question "Why us God?". We could not understand why God withhold His blessings from us and our desire to conceive a child.

This week we have once again asked the question "Why us God?" This time however with a different meaning. We cannot comprehend why God would choose us for this incredible journey. His grace and the growth we have experienced throughout the journey to our son are humbling and beyond our understanding.

Isaiah 55:8

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways my ways..."

I love the picture of the three of you. After such a long journey to Zeke, it is great to see such happiness of your faces. I think we can all say now we know the true meaning of joy when we look at our sons. The Whys aren't easy, but it is funny how fast the Whys can disapper when we can now sit back and look at our journey to Braiden and yours to Zeke. We love all three of you. Valerie.

Because of your continued obedience and faithfulness to His service the two of you are the perfect couple, 'chosen by God', to be Zeke's parents. You have truly been blessed! We love all of you!

"Thank you Lord" is so much more humbling isn't it when you are holding a child that you have cried out for such a long time... but "Why us God?" gets easier as you look into that childs eyes each day...the journey there is faith....
